Take what I say as just some random whispering in the wind, nothing conclusive, but based on my own experience & understanding.

I don't think it is worthwhile to try to experience everything as One Sense. That is something which just happens naturally as one focuses more and more on the illusion of self, at least in my experience. It is almost not even worth talking about (and wasn't talked about to Bahiya who attained full release, far as I can tell). It's the kind of thing which might be pointing to something important (latent tendencies of having a perspective, as Corrigan says), but which itself is unimportant. Not only unimportant, but also misleading, because the One Sense can very easily be identified with like Ground of Being/Divine Source, yet what is most liberating is the disjointness of everything that One Sense pulsates/flows through/as.

It is kind of obvious that D.O. is uncaused if you think about it, I guess--kind of like how nothing can be said to "cause" 1+1 to equal 2 besides just the conditions of intellect + objects of intellect. But to say that nimittas and nada sounds are (more than other things) uncaused is not accurate or logical to me. The nada sound and the nimitta are both the result of conditions just like everything else (even of those conditions are some type of vibration of the whole of Indra's net). Granted, the whole idea of things happening in time (and hence conditionally) is certainly something only making sense dualistically, since non-dually when emptied out there is nothing that "happens" or can be measured as a "thing" "happening." Again, though, seeking the uncaused to me is a misleading path which somehow I guess works for Corrigan (since he I guess studied D.O.) but which most folks walk to end at the sticky True Self/One Mind zone.

I could totally be reading him all wrong and jumping to wrong conclusions. That's just what stood out on first glance.TAFKA JESTDRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02262910815138538454noreply@blogger.com
